The Loving Grandma Craft Room

Nature Collage

Hi, my name is Linda! Oh, my grandbabies just adore making these little nature collages, and I have to admit, I do too. It’s an oldie but goodie that has truly stood the test of time—I remember doing the very same thing with my own kids years ago.

Instructions

  1. After a short walk, have the child glue their “treasures” onto the paper to make patterns, animals, or a landscape scene.

Supplies

  • Leaves, sticks, flowers (collected from outside)

  • Glue

  • Heavy paper or cardboard

By the time we sit down to glue it all together, they’re full of stories about the “treasures” they’ve found, and I get to savor those sweet little moments of creativity and chatter that make grandma days so special.

I hope you enjoy making these!

Linda

The best part is how much joy they find in the collecting itself. We’ll head out to the yard or take a short walk, and suddenly a whole adventure unfolds as they search for leaves, twigs, and tiny flowers to add to their masterpiece. It keeps them happily busy for quite a while, and I love that they stay close by instead of darting off, so I can keep an easy eye on them.
